A collaboration between 1800® and Pedro Friedeberg, Mexico's most celebrated Surrealist, the Mono Laberinto Doble decanter is a sculptural nickel original housing a rare, hand-selected 1800® Extra Añejo.

For over 70 years, Friedeberg built a visual universe where the symbolic, the geometric, and the fantastical lived without hierarchy. Mono Laberinto Doble is among his final works.

With only 50 pieces to exist worldwide, each is signed, numbered, and accompanied by a signed art certificate. Once claimed, this collector’s edition is permanently closed.

A Closer Look

Only produced and released in the finest years of production, 1800® Colección is one of the rarest tequilas in the world. The process begins with a rigorous agave selection after reaching optimum maturity. Subsequently, the agave enters our traditional slow baking process in stone ovens until obtaining select juice, which is then double-distilled in copper stills, and finally aged in French oak casks.

Upon culminating the aging process, our Tequila Expert creates a special and balanced blend between it and the finest aged tequila reserves, producing 1800® Colección. This supreme extra-añejo tequila boasts an amber hue and well structured taste that reveals a succession of spices and aromas that have been added over time, paired with a subtle almond hint that leaves a pleasant sensation on the palate.

1800® Colección is a piece of art that can be apprciated with all senses; as every edition is paired with a custom-designed, limited edition decanter by renowned artists such as Gary Baseman, Bosco Sodi, and Hector Velazquez.
