We sponsored the Art Zone at ComplexCon 2017, an experience curated by Takashi Murakami featuring pieces from some of the world’s finest retailers, brands and artists, such as @Gangster Doodles, @Seventh Letter, @PaperworkNYC, @Polaroid, Giphy, Snarkitecture, Vacancy Projects, Known Gallery and more!
Right in the middle of the Art Zone was the 1800® Tequila bar, custom designed by the talented @MadSteez. Check it out below.
A steady stream of people explored the Art Zone, admiring, Instagramming, and, obviously, stopping by the bar for a drink. @RichTheKid and @DjOsh_Kosh were among those spotted with a cocktail in hand!
The vibe at ComplexCon 2017 was electric from opening until Sunday’s wrap. Each morning, attendees ran in to line up for exclusive merchandise drops from Adidas, Puma and Nike, to name a few, and continued to shop, eat, drink and dance until the nightly concerts began.
But, once the official ComplexCon concerts let out, the night wasn’t over. To keep the vibe going on Saturday night, we hosted the first ever ComplexCon after party. It was a raucous yet refined event attended by influencers, fans, and employees of top lifestyle brands — complete with an exclusive performance from one of our favorites, Rich The Kid.
It all went down at an Underground event space in Long Beach – a setting perfect for an intimate, curated crowd. The 1800® Tequila flowed freely at the open bar and attendees partied until the early hours of the morning to beats by DJ Osh Kosh. To end the night, Rich The Kid got the crowd buzzing with an incredible set, including his latest fire track ft. @KendrickLamar: ‘New Freezer’.
All in all, ComplexCon 2017 was a huge hit, building on the enormous success it saw last year. Bring on 2018!
