1800® Tequila was proud to sponsor the release of A$AP Ferg’s new track ‘East Coast’ at Doperoots and Traplord‘s DOPELAND LA event on 4/20. The event took place in a warehouse known as Operation Unknown. See what you missed in the video below.
The rooftop skate jam was hosted by A$AP Ferg & TJ Mizell with special guest and known skater, Black Dave, who provided commentary throughout the day, awarding the gnarliest riders with giveaways from one of the Dopeland sponsors, Zoo York.
Everything kicked off at 5 pm and continued on into the night, allowing guests to ride the rooftop park, listen to live music provided by Doperoots and enjoy complimentary beer & BBQ by Los Angeles’ own Hood Chef.
When the rooftop park closed, the night transitioned into the fun house event that consisted of two rooms, each built out with their own feel and activations. The performance room was complete with a DJ setup, stage, specialty cocktail bar, silent theater section, and a giant coloring wall that guests collectively filled in and tagged throughout the night. The lounge room allowed guests to relax in black leather VIP sections while enjoying premium 1800® Tequila cocktails at the influencer bar and childhood classics from the popular DIY cereal bar.
The fun house portion of Dopeland LA not only had awesome activations for guests on site, but it also consisted of performances by A$AP Ferg, Jay IDK, Tish, Marty Baller and a guest DJ set by Angela Simmons with Doperoots co-founder, TJ Mizell.
There is already heavy anticipation building up for the second installment of Dopeland NYC: Back to the Roots, which will take place in NYC this July 2017. Keep updated on the details of this event here.
Keep it locked.
