Beth Campbell | 1800 Tequila Essential Artists

Beth Campbell

Known for her drawings, sculpture, and architectural interventions, Beth Campbell creates works that challenge assumptions about the perception of our physical world. Drawing upon philosophy, phenomenology and psychology, she choreographs spaces, crafts uncanny objects, and maps thought with an intimate voice creating tension between physical and virtual, ordinary and surreal. She has been awarded a Guggenheim Memorial Foundation Fellowship, a Louis Comfort Tiffany Fellowship and a Pollack-Krasner Foundation Grant. Her work has been shown with major institutions including The Whitney Museum of Art, The Public Art Fund, The Carnegie Museum of Art, the Brooklyn Museum and at art galleries throughout the world.
